According to Jesus, once you've acknowledged him as your Savior, it's time to get baptised – this is where you’re dunked under water. It is an act that simply shows the world on the outside what Jesus is up to on the inside. You can read more about it in Romans 6:3-4.

Jordan’s Story
“Thank you Jesus, for saving my life.”
On Sunday September 13th, Jordan Balins is being baptised at New Pen.
Jordan’s journey to faith is a remarkable story of encountering Jesus, finding hope and beginning a completely new path. In his own words, Jordan shares what happened on the first day of 2026 and how that experience changed his life.
Jordan's Testimony
For my whole life I did not believe in the idea of a God, in fact I was mostly displeased in that idea. I led a life of what I thought to be unforgivable sin. Consistent drug abuse, sexual immorality, blaspheming God's spirit in every breath & step I took…bathing in a pool of fear and misery.
January 1st 2026, 1:00 am, I had just arrived home from an unpleasant night out celebrating the new year. I was sat in the back of my car, too numb to cry and too exhausted to move, I was paralysed. Suddenly, the voices in my head go quiet, something in the air shifts and I am filled with an emotion I can only describe as fear. ‘’Is this a demon playing tricks on me?” I think to myself. I am terrified as I stand before this immense power humming through my nervous system. Instinctively my first thought is to drop to my knees and pray to this presence for mercy. The moment my knees reach the floor, fear is turned into warmth, love & utter beauty. I instantly knew, I was being visited by Jesus. I pray to him, give every atom of my being to him and trust that he will enter my heart and replace it with his. Since that day I am not only comforted but corrected. I hit the ground so hard, I had to be picked up.
