New Peninsula Baptist Church has a fundamental approach to nurturing, supporting and developing young people in our care.
We place our highest priority on their wellbeing, growth and safety.  Our Leaders are committed to pass on all concerns of abuse, of all people, all the time and in difficult situations our approach will be completely survivor centred.

Police Checks and Working with Children Checks

All Staff and Volunteers working for or serving as part of New Peninsula Baptist Church are required to hold a current Working With Children Check. You must also ensure that you have nominated New Peninsula Baptist Church as a place where you volunteer or work under 'Update my details'. You can find all details through their website here.
*A registered teacher who does child-related work- other than teaching in a school or early childhood service- must notify WWCCV of this work by completing the Teacher notification form. This can be completed through this website: https://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/organisations/victorian-teacher-information

Some roles also require a Police check on commencement, and/or on a regular or as required basis. For a link to complete your Police Check online please email office@newpeninsula.com.au or contact your Ministry Leader.
