Pastoral Care

Jesus calls His people to ‘love one another, as I have loved you’,
and here at New Peninsula we are seeing incredible expressions of love to ‘one another’;
in our church family, to our neighbours and to our Community.
So, come and see, take a look at what God has been doing through you all,
and ask Him how you can be a part of His incredible blessings as we take this journey together.

Care, and Connect

Write a letter, send a postcard, draw a picture!
You can care!

Verna (pictured) was so thrilled when a young family wrote letters to her, including pictures and drawings of her favourite dogs.

A gift of fruit, some home made baking, these may seem like a small offering, however Jesus said:

"In as much as you did it for one of the least of these, my brothers, you did it to me."
Matthew 25:40

No gift is too small!

Meals Ministry

Sometimes, the everyday tasks can be the hardest, so having a ready made meal delivered can make the world of difference!
We love to bless new mums and their families, those who have been unwell or are supporting someone in hospital, or for those of us who are struggling and need some extra support.
If you'd like to help with meals - please complete this form here.

If you are a life group leader, or just a friend who wants to help organise a meals roster, we recommend using takethemameal.com
*Please note we are not affiliated with this website in anyway, it's just been a really helpful resource for us!

Be a part of the team!

If you want to help serve those around you, whether it is a one off or regular commitment, or your just not sure where you fit, we would love for you to complete this form and we will get in touch with you!
Thank you for your willingness to be Jesus hands and feet!

Share your ideas!

Have you found a creative or practical way to connect with friends, family, neighbours, or even strangers?
Click here to email us your story and we will add your suggestion to the list below so others can try them too!
Just some ways our congregation members have cared for others lately:
  • We have exchanged a meal with a neighbour once a week. Great fun and a good way to try new recipes!
  • My daughter made and delivered 39 cards to our neighbours, none of whom we know, just to encourage them during lock-down
  • We have been sharing fresh eggs with our neighbours
  • My husband baked fresh bread for neighbours
  • I intend on making German Friendship cake to take as Christmas gifts
  • A member sent packets of popcorn to all the Year 6 students in the congregation to encourage them during remote learning
New Peninsula Baptist Church has a fundamental approach to nurturing, supporting and developing young people in our care.
We place our highest priority on their wellbeing, growth and safety.  Our Leaders are committed to pass on all concerns of abuse, of all people, all the time and in difficult situations our approach will be completely survivor centred.  If you have any concerns or reports of abuse please contact our Pastor on call on 0407 311 185
